Indicated for the treatment of lumbar disc herniations, it uses an 18 mm incision in the lumbar area, a tube-shaped work port is introduced through which it opens the way to the intervertebral disc. Under the vision of the surgical microscope, and using specific instruments, the disc fragment that has herniated, is extracted and thus the nerve is decompressed, improving the sciatic pain.
