Low back pain
Low back pain
Low back pain is an incredibly prevalent symptom, approximately 85% of people will suffer from low back pain throughout their lives, it is the second cause of seeking medical attention, and after the common cold, the second cause of sick leave.
These data also apply, in slightly lower percentages, to cervical pain.
Generally, low back pain has a benign course and treatment with analgesics, physical measures and exercises is sufficient, but sometimes, it is associated with diseases of the structure of the spine.
Low back pain persistent
When low back pain or sciatica is persistent, it may be necessary to study it more thoroughly with radiological or neurophysiological tests since there are surgical techniques, which in recent times are minimally invasive, that can solve it completely.
